Job Summary:

Under general supervision, responsible for buying necessary materials and development of the schedule for production of finished units, sub-assemblies and manufactured components.

Accountabilities:

  • Produces production schedules balancing customer’s required dates and factory capacity constraints
  • Regular reporting and continuous improvement of business metrics as: supplier lead times, supplier on-time delivery, schedule attainment, on-time delivery to customers, inventory targets, project management
  • Help drive the lean enterprise system in ERP and the buying/planning processes
  • Produces work of high quality under high standards always observing the company core competencies

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing the sales orders, ensuring the availability of materials for manufacturing to commence production and coordinating production schedules. 
  • Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
  • Assess supplier's products to ensure they that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations; negotiate prices and delivery conditions; and commit to purchases (within established limits of authority) with terms that are in the organization's best interest.
  • Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities with the organization's current and anticipated demand for goods and materials. 
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders with internal customers.
  • Develop and implement production plans to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. 
  • Use engineering plans, contracts, and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate the human resources, tools, and equipment needed to manufacture products. 
  • Monitor production activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed meet production requirements. 
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages. 
  • Prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules. 
  • Evaluate production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills/Competencies required:

  • Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in sales, product descriptions, material requirements, customers’ expectations, engineering requirements and other discrepancies created through the pre-production and production processes.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate, and negotiate effectively and to set priorities in a manner   which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external business partners, both orally and in writing. English preferred (bi-lingual a plus).

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management required.
  • 1-4 Years of experience in Materials Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience utilizing MRP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Summary:


Plan, direct, and monitor all materials planning, inventory control and storage activities so that the organization has access to the inputs, materials, goods, and services it needs for its current and future operations.

Accountabilities:


  • Create, monitor and implement production load/capacities & inventory management business processes and ERP systems.  Maintain data integrity. 
  • Collaboratively establish and maintain KPI’s for production planning and inventory management that drive both individual and department performance.
  • Regular reporting and continuous improvement of business metrics such as:  on-time delivery, inventory targets, and past due work orders
  • Work collaboratively with operations, engineering and sales/customer service to determine and resolve root causes of customer service related issues.
  • Performance Management –  maintain consistent performance measurements in order to continuously achieve high levels of employee performance
  • Talent Development – establish and maintain employee development and succession planning in order to achieve organizational workforce needs.
  • Follow HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and related work instructions and assist implementation of HSE regulations and policies

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Reviews production orders or schedules/master schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations (in accordance to sales forecasts or customer orders).
  • Maintain and/or develop and implement standard work for planning and inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources by reviewing production and operating reports.  Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimium costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Working closely with operations leadership, production supervisors, and sales/customer service, analyze production specifications, plant capacity data, and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Prioritize spending and achieve volume, timeliness, reliability, and safey standards.
  • Work closely and proactively with purchasing and sales/customer service to establish and maintain inventory levels that support the factory build schedule.
  • Work with Tranter counterparts globally to establish and maintain effective transfer order demand and supply signal creation, monitoring and fulfillment policy and procedures.
  • Oversee the maintenance of inventory control systems that track the status of purchase order, inventory levels, and production requirements.
  • Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate materials handling activities with the organization’s current and anticipated demand for goods and materials.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional staff so the organization has access to the materials and inputs it needs to operate, and so all materials and goods are handled, stored and distributed safely, cost-effectively, and on-time.

Skills/Competencies required:

Job Summary:

Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.


Accountabilities:

  • Document procedures, workflow, policies, and checklists for assigned responsiblities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures, policies, and regulatory guidance.
  • Ensure all deadlines and schedules are met on time and in accordance with Management’s expectations 
  • Help drive the lean enterprise system in the finance processes.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for processing, analyzing and maintenance of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
  • Create, monitor, and post accruals and journal entries. 
  • Reconcile sub ledger and general ledger accounts for management review.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
  • Perform fixed asset, general ledger, inventory and inventory reserve accounting for manufacturing locations.
  • Perform accounting closing duties with a special focus on manufacturing and service centers.
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information.
  • Create and maintain a variety of financial reports and accounting statements (plant and service centers) so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. 
    •  These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports, filings, etc. \
    • Includes utilizing Tranter financial systems and internal reporting accounting software packages and databases to develop spending, revenue, receivables, payables and reconciliation reports.
  • Invoicing for all North America Tranter locations, to include debit memos, credit memos and RMA’s and daily reconciliation of all.
  • Process out-going freight bills, credit card payments, wire transfers, positive pays, ACH payments, etc.
  • Monthly reports such as credit memo, PPV, inspection cost, etc.
  • Maintain fixed asset folders and spreadsheets.
  • Various special accounting projects as assigned by supervisor, controller or another accounting department co-workers that need assistance
  • Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies required:

  • Extensive excel working knowledge including pivot tables required.
  • MS Office working knowledge.
  • Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision and accustomed to work under tight deadlines.
