HVAC -Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
A comfortable, pleasant indoor climate is a mark of quality. An
uncontrolled temperature affects working conditions and comfort. It
must neither be too warm, nor too cold. Using the excess heat from
processes, equipment and sewage systems as a complement to district
heating or boilers not only reduces the environmental load but also
reduces energy consumption. Water from rivers or lakes can also be used
in district cooling systems, eliminating the hazards of
refrigerants.

Application Examples:
Regenerative heat exchange
Cold feedstock needs heating and hot products need cooling. Both can be
done with a plate heat exchanger.
Cooling water circuit isolation
This application shows how to solve the problem with water causing
fouling problems when using water from a nearby river, lake etc. A
Wide-Gap plate heat exchanger with a channel depth two to five times
wider is very suitable for the application. If totally
interruption-free operation is required, we recommend two units, using
one as a standby while cleaning the other.
